Line-Up Sensation Chile announced
Estación Mapocho will be transformed in the Ocean Of White for a spectacular edition of Sensation Chile. After rescheduling to the 30th of April for obvious reasons that we all are aware of, we are now ready to share the artists headlining this year’s edition.
The performing artists: Bass Romero, Christian Smith, Mastiksoul, Sharam & Joachim Garraud.
SHARAM TAYEBI
Sharam Tayebi, one half of the respected duo Deep Dish, has been going from strength to strength the last couple of years. As a producer, he seems to be pumping out a never-ending stream of pure dancefloor smashes, while his remix clientele include Michael Jackson, Madonna and the Rolling Stones. His work has been well recognized, earning him two Grammy awards, making him the first of his industry to achieve this recognition. In Santiago he is sure to get you dancing, so get ready for Sharam!
JOACHIM GARRAUD
Joachim Garraud is a true musician, always breaking through boundaries and evolving his sound. In Santiago he will deliver an unheard blend of live instruments and upfront electronic music, merged into a perfected signature sound. Get ready Chile for Joachim Garraud.
CESAR ‘BASS’ ROMERO
Cesar 'Bass' Romero will carry the Chilean flag on the third edition of Sensation in Chile. His career jumpstarted around 2002, when he landed a residency at Street Machine events. The big jump came when he became the number one DJ in Chile, defeating every single DJ in the THIRST contest, held by Heineken all over the world. Paul Oakenfold was the resident DJ of that party and also the contest judge who chose Cesar as the winner. Several residencies in Cancun Mexico and Montreal followed. Now Cesar 'Bass' Romero is ready to come back to his country and rock the dance floor under The Ocean Of White.
CHRISTIAN SMITH
Swedish citizen, Christian Smith spent the late 80’s years in Germany soaking up the early house and techno sound of Sven Vath. Now based in Sao Paulo, he has been championing his funky mix of house and soulful techno for more than a decade, playing across Asia, North & South America, and Europe. His music released on a variety of top labels like Renaissance; Adam Beyer's Drumcode, Josh Wink’s Ovum, 100% Pure, John Digweed's Bedrock, and his very own Tronic, only proves his flexibility in the studio. Similarly on the decks, Christian’s set is a cauldron of chunky grooves with loads of energy. Some of his favorite clubs are: Womb, Tokyo; Loft, Barcelona; Pacha Buenos Aires. Christian Smith will make his debut for Sensation in Chile.
MASTIKSOUL
Many consider Mastiksoul to be the most successful Portuguese artist of the last few years. With more hits than any other Portuguese artist, Mastiksoul has consolidated his position as one of the best producers in the world, managing to distinguish himself with his unique style that’s filled with tribal beats and uplifting melodies. Behind the decks he is however just as skilled as he is in the studio. After an amazing Sensation debut in Portugal last year, Mastiksoul is ready to take you on a journey through the waves of the Ocean of White.
It all kicks off 8pm, Friday April 30th, at Estación Mapocho.
